Hi Jonathan! Thank you for your message, I was so happy to read it. I haven't read any Mann, however I've heard a lot about him. I wish my German was good enough to read the original text, but I realize that's not realistic...cry. Your photography is absolutely stunning, and I appreciate your details about where you took the photo! I must go back to Germany. I will suggest Death in Venice for the bookbug book club, I'll let you know what I think!

Thanks a lot for your message back! I think usually translations of such classic books are really good so it should not be an issue. Let me know if you end up reading it :) I also quite enjoy picking out the photos and writing the little captions, it kinda makes me relive the moments when I took the photo
